Remarks:

Ms. LaPorte is a member of the investment committee of DLJ Capital Corporation ("DLJCC"), a Delaware corporation and indirect subsidiary of Credit Suisse (the "Bank"), a Swiss bank. Ms. LaPorte is also a managing director of New Leaf Venture Partners, L.L.C., which provides investment advisory services to the Sprout Group funds. The Investment Banking division of the Bank, which includes DLJCC and the Sprout Group funds, may own securities of the Issuer from time to time, and Ms. LaPorte, notwithstanding her relationship with DLJCC and the Sprout Group funds, disclaims beneficial ownership of such securities except to the extent of her pecuniary interest therein, if any.
